Prior to serving as Club President, he served in multiple club leadership roles and was honored to receive both, “Rookie of the Year” and “Rotarian of the Year” awards. He has served on multiple International service trips and local community service projects.

Kirk served as District 6900 Service Chair in 2016/17, Assistant Governor 2017/18, District 6900 Public Image Chair in 2018/19 while preparing to serve as District Governor 2020/21. He became a Major Donor in 2016/17 and continues to support the foundation. During Kirk’s year as President, the club won numerous awards, including Club of the Year and Best Membership Growth. Kirk was also awarded the Sheffield Award, which recognizes the top President in each of the four club categories for that year. Rotary International recognized Kirk by presenting him with the Rotary Choice Award for a personal video he uses to describe what being a Rotarian means to him.
