Atwater, executive director of LiveSafe Resources, is a Certified Fundraising
Executive (CFRE) and Fellow of Charitable Estate Planning (FCEP) with more twenty
five years of development and non-profit management experience. Located in
Marietta, GA, LiveSafe Resources is a social services agency focused on helping
victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and elder abuse.
began her non-profit career at the High Museum of Art, and then moved into
healthcare joining Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. In her role as Vice President, she led a
capital campaign raising more than $200 million to fund facility expansions and
program endowments. Atwater then stepped
in as President of the WellStar Foundation.
Most recently, Tracey served as an independent, non-profit consultant
assisting organizations nation-wide.
is a native of Atlanta, and has had extensive volunteer involvement in the
community serving dozens of non-profit organizations. She is a graduate of
Leadership Atlanta, the Regional Leadership Institute and Leadership Cobb and
is actively involved in these groups. In
her personal life, she volunteers with her church and with Inheritance of Hope.
graduated from Furman University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in political
science, and she received a Master’s degree in business administration from
Georgia State University. She is married
to Jeff and has two, adult children.
