Bill has been practicing law for over thirty years in the Atlanta area. Bill is a Rotarian since 1996 and a past-president of the Rotary Club of Marietta Metro. Bill currently serves as a board of director for the nonprofit medical provider Carelink of North West Georgia, Inc. Bill has been an Elder for four three-year terms and serve on the finance and personnel team at Macland Presbyterian Church. Bill is President of the Georgia Nature Photographers Association. Bill began practicing law as the associate assigned to the senior partner in my firm who was a general practitioner. As a result, I maintain a general practice and handle many areas of law including: Civil litigation, estate planning, elder law, Medicaid planning, probate, administration of estates, estate litigation, construction litigation, materialman's liens and foreclosure of liens, construction payment bond claims, and Miller Act claims, domestic relations, child custody and divorce, personal injury and wrongful death, eminent domain (condemnation law) and zoning, business formation, business representation, contracts and claims, criminal law and DUI defense, real estate contracts, closings and title issues, taxes including income tax, fiduciary income tax, estate and gift tax and IRS audits and claims. Bill is admitted to practice in all courts in northern Georgia including the Georgia Supreme Court, the Georgia Court of Appeals, the United States District Court for the Northern and Middle Districts of Georgia and the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals.
